The Nine Mile Creek Watershed District works cooperatively with other government bodies at the city, county and state level to maintain and enhance water quality, regulate stormwater runoff, and provide year-round recreation. The District also works with developers on any project that proposes to alter floodplains, wetlands, lakes or the creek itself.
